About Candice

A Brief History of Candice

Candice CMP (#59559) has been practicing massage therapy since 2014. She is completing her training with the California Holistic Institute in San Luis Obispo and has taken multiple continuing education seminars to keep improving her skills. Candice takes pride in her ability to help clients and athletes reach their full potential.
Candice completed her education at Fresno State as a Kinesiology: Exercise Science major and graduated during the Summer of 2018. She now has a Bachelor’s of Science and is a Certified Personal Trainer. She added Personal Training to her business because she believes that exercise is an essential role in total body health and wellness.

She values knowledge as the means by which she can better facilitate each client's healing process, as well as indulging her love of teaching people about their bodies.

Candice provides result-oriented therapeutic massage treatments and specializes in the following modalities:

  • Swedish Massage
  • Deep Tissue
  • Sports Massage
  • Myofascial Release
  • Swedish Massage
  • Sports Massage
  • Trigger Point Therapy
  • Repetitive Stress Injuries
  • Active Release Technique
  • Pre and Post Natal Massage
  • Selective Functional Movement Assessment
  • Functional Movement Screen

Candice is very active in all sports, but early on in her life, she suffered various injuries to her back and knees. By the age of seventeen, Candice had both ACL’s replaced and had overcome a painful back injury. These injuries sparked her passion for holistic health and well-being.

She found relief from her pain through muscular release and adjustments while under the care of a Chiropractor who was trained in Active Release Technique. The many benefits of muscular release inspired Candice to become a Certified Massage Practitioner.

The benefits of massage therapy merely begin with liberating the body from muscular tension. Massage can also calm the nervous system and has been proven to bring relief to people who suffer from anxiety and depression. Massage is, in fact, an excellent way to discover one’s own mind/ body connection and gain the empowerment of taking health into your own hands.

Candice’s mission is to help others achieve their own personal best level of fitness and pain-free living with a holistic approach to health care. Often, Candice will suggest stretches, exercises, or make training recommendations to empower you to continue healing and make wise decisions while outside of her office.

“The most rewarding part is when I can help my clients increase their ability to listen with their inner ear, thereby gaining a better understanding of how they can help themselves."
